I had a bit of an issue with this site last night, and by "a bit" I mean a major freaking problem. I was playing with some of the configuration settings in my blog software to try and get email notifications to work. One of the adjustments I made imported all the recent email from my personal email account and posted it on my blog last night. So, that's convenient.

Thanks to all of you who contacted me to let me know about the problem. Unless you're really interested in the scheduling for my band rehearsal or the latest scratch-n-dent deals at MusiciansFriend.com, please go ahead and delete everything in your RSS reader from this site in the last twenty-four hours as it is, quite literally, SPAM.

I tried like hell to get the site back to normal but, in the end, it was just going to take too long. I'd been considering changing blogging software anyway, so that's just what I did. I grabbed BlogEngine.NET and installed it this morning. This was a fantastic experience. Installing it on the server was a breeze and the hardest part was trying to pick a theme I liked from the many available on the site. So far I give BlogEngine.NET four stars. Thanks to Clint Edmonson for the referral.

Anyway, I'm starting over. From scratch. I'm going to put my most recent posts back on the site, as well as some of the items from my archives, but other than that, it's all new from this point on. I hope you enjoy it.
